Life
Retirement is on the horizon and the kids are on their own so I decided to get a new kid and bought a horse and rebuilt a barn and paddock. It's a good way to stay active because horses are just like kids, and they always seek attention.
The weather in Michigan is not too bad but when the temps stay in the single figures for daytime highs I start to think about warmer climes. I am thinking about relocating south to eastern North Carolina or maybe South Carolina to do what I feel like doing for a change and maybe the horses may agree with me that warmer tempetaures in the winter would be nice.
Anywhere you live has something that other places do not. I suppose when you find a place that has more positive attributes then negative it would be a good idea to go there. Exactly where that place is I am not sure of yet. I am sure that when I find it there will be no question about...Expand for more
it. It's kind of like meeting your soulmate... When you find it you will probably not really be looking for it but it will take your breath away. I hope all that read this find their "paradise"... and if you haven't, don't ever give up until you do... It's worth the journey....

Three Cruises.. Married for 19 years (off and on)Two kids Sara,Michigan State graduate working for an advertising agency in Detroit Michigan. Son, Joseph the third,University of Michigan graduate one year post graduate work University of Glascow now working in a temp agency looking for a day trader job.
Remarried Nov 1995 and am still working for General Motors in Grand Rapids Michigan. Can retire in three years...
